Summary: Our stay at the house had a few issues that affected the overall experience. The host was responsive and did communicate with us, and they were willing to adjust the check-in time, which we appreciated. However, it was only after we enquired about check-in that we were informed the dishwasher was leaking and wouldn’t be fixed until the following week. This was disappointing, as it’s something we would have preferred to know in advance.The kitchen also wasn’t equipped with the quality cookware that was mentioned in the listing, which made preparing meals more difficult than expected. In addition, on the morning of our checkout, the gardening service arrived and began mowing the lawns before we had even left( as this was clearly not done before checking in), which felt intrusive and rushed.Overall, while the host was communicative, the maintenance issues and lack of amenities meant the stay didn’t quite meet the expectations set by the listing.
